During ongoing strike action at Kingston Hospital, patients are being asked to go to Teddington Urgent Treatment Centre.

Doctors' strikes will take place at Kingston Hospital from Thursday 13 until Tuesday 18 July, and from Thursday 20 July until Saturday 22 July.

During that time, the Emergency Department will be prioritising patients who need care most urgently and waiting times will be longer than usual. Those who need urgent care may be seen more quickly at Teddington Urgent Treatment Centre, open from 8am until 8pm daily.

In a statement, a spokesperson for Kingston Hospital said: "Planned strike action by junior doctors, and then by consultants, is expected to cause major disruption – but the NHS is still here for people who need care."

For non-emergency health queries, patients are asked to visit the NHS 111 website. In life-threatening cases, call 999.
