A new off licence could be opening in Hampton Wick.
Dsingh Business Ltd is hoping to open Kingston Off Licence in Kings Place Field on Hampton Court Road.
For the new shop, the company has submitted a premises licence application to Richmond Council seeking permission to supply alcohol for off-premises consumption during its proposed operating hours of 8am – 11pm seven days a week.
To comply with the council's four licencing objectives, Dsingh Business Ltd says "all staff involved in the sale of alcohol shall undertake staff training", it will have a "suitable colour digital CCTV recording system installed at the premises", have an incident book to record incidents of crime and disorder, and will operate the Challenge 25 scheme.
Moreover, the company says "Signage shall be displayed in a prominent position on the premises requesting that customers leave quietly. Poster reminded customers that public spaces are subject to PSPO orders."
Residents have until Tuesday, 13 January to submit representations for this application and can do so here.
