A Kingston non-profit organisation is seeking help for a new Film & Production Club for autistic individuals aged 16-25.

Local autism awareness organisation, express (CIC), is developing a new offer for autistic young adults who are interested in theatre and films. Whether it be in front of the camera, scriptwriting, directing or behind the scenes.

Reaching out into the community, Express is asking for help to buy equipment and material, as well as set up a bursary fund for those who would not otherwise be able to attend.

A post from the non-profit said: "There are many talented young people in our community and we want to give them the opportunity to shine."

Reaching out to the community, express is asking for help to buy equipment, materials, as well as set up a bursary fund for those who would not otherwise be able to attend.

Held on Thursday evenings, the Film & Production Club is set to feature drama games, scene and acting studies, film and film analysis, theatre productions, acting, directing, and stage managing- just to name a few.

Calling on local businesses, express CIC is also appealing for groups to sponsor of donate a piece of equipment, or even to fund an individual.

Costumes, props, and a camera for filming are including on the wish-list for the scheme to go ahead.
