A theme park in Chessington could have vehicle charging stations installed.

Chessington World of Adventures has submitted a planning application to Kingston Council seeking permission to install eight vehicle charging stations, including a substation, feeding pillar and underground cabling.

If the application is approved, the substation will be located 500mm northeast of the charging stations and there will be bollards on a concrete plinth beneath the substation.

Kingston Council is yet to make a decision on this application.
