A missing child was found in Ham today.

The child was reported missing earlier this morning in the riverside area.

The local RNLI, based in Teddington, were called to help with the search.

Teddington RNLI Tweeted:

"Pager Alert 1225. Both boats were launched following reports of a young child who had gone missing in the Ham riverside area.

"The child was safely located away from the river as D-785 arrived at the location. Both boats then stood down and returned to station. Thanks all!"
