Mayor of Kingston visits Urban Fun – celebrating the new £4million entertainment destination

The Mayor of Kingston, Councillor Noel Hadjimichael, paid a special visit to Urban Fun Kingston on Sunday (14 December), meeting Director Matthew Deith and guests as the venue continues to welcome the local community to its new multi-level entertainment playground.

The new entertainment playground officially opened its doors to the public last Friday (12 December).

Following a £4 million investment, Urban Fun offers next-level fun for all ages, with attractions including Brunswick duck-pin bowling, AR darts, axe throwing, Subsoccer football, mini-golf, curling lanes, a 12-person karaoke room, Europe's first ICEE Slush Rush machine, and a cutting-edge arcade featuring UK-first games.

Guests can also enjoy two bars, a mouth-watering food menu, and digital prize redemption via the Gamergreen system.

Commenting on the visit, the Mayor said: "After a £4 million investment it's a real opportunity to give the people of the Royal Borough of Kingston 4 million hours of fun in any one year. Well done!"

 Matthew Deith, Director of Urban Fun, added: "We were thrilled to welcome the Mayor and share our vision for next-level leisure and entertainment in Kingston. Urban Fun is about creating unforgettable moments for families, friends, and the local community."

Urban Fun Kingston continues to offer family-friendly daytime activities and high-energy evening experiences, making it a landmark addition to the town centre's social and leisure scene.
