Man taken to hospital after being shot by BB gun in New Malden

A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after being shot in New Malden.
Officers were called to Coombe Road just before 5am this morning (Friday, 10 July).
It is believed the man was shot with a BB gun and his injuries are not life threatening or life changing.
No arrests have been made at this stage, and a cordon is in place as enquiries continue.
A London Ambulance spokesperson told Nub News: "We were called at 4:57am to reports of an incident on Coombe Road, New Malden KT3.
"We sent paramedics in fast response cars and an incident response officer to the scene.
"We treated a patient and took him to a local hospital".
A Met Police spokesperson added: "At 04:45hrs on Friday, 10 July, police responded to concerns for welfare of a man on Coombe Road, New Malden.
"When officers arrived on scene the man, in his twenties, was found with injuries after being shot with what is believed to be a BB gun. The London Ambulance Service took the man to hospital, where his injuries were deemed non-life threatening nor life changing."
