Man rushed to hospital following stabbing in Surbiton

A man in his 30s was rushed to hospital after a stabbing in Surbiton yesterday (Wednesday, May 14).

The incident happened on Victoria Road just after 10pm on Wednesday.

Police officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended the scene and found a man who had been stabbed.

He was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where his condition was assessed as non-life threatening. 

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue. 

A Met Police spokesperson told Kingston Nub News: "On Wednesday, 14 May at 22:06hrs police and the London Ambulance Service responded to reports of a stabbing on Victoria Road, Surbiton.

 "A 30-year-old man was taken to hospital where his injuries were treated. His injuries are non life-threatening or life-changing. The victim remains in hospital.

 "Investigations are ongoing and no arrests have been made at this stage.

 "Anyone with information is asked to call 101 quoting reference 8615/14MAY. You can also provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
