Male pedestrian collision with a truck on London Road

A male pedestrian has suffered a collision with a truck on London Road, Kingston, this morning (17 October)

Police were called at approximately 7:15am to reports of the crash.

Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and the man was taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not life threatening.

No arrests were made but enquiries into the circumstances continue.Road closures were put in place while the scene was dealt with, causing Coombe road to be partially blocked.

Queues piled each way from Kingston hospital to the town centre.

Road closures have now been lifted.
