Married photography duo Giedrius and Dalia Stakauskas spotted male deer locking antlers in Richmond Park last month.

Giedrius, from Orpington, said: "This autumn, during the red deer rut, my wife Dalia and I were lucky enough to witness an incredible scene in Richmond Park. We came across two stags locked in a fierce battle for dominance.

"The clash lasted for over ten minutes, and in the end, the defending stag successfully held his ground, forcing the challenger to retreat.

"It was an amazing experience to see such raw power up close - moments like this are truly rare."
