The Telegraph has ranked and rated all of London's 32 boroughs and Kingston did not even make the top ten.

To compile the list, Telegraph Travel crunched data across 34 categories, incorporating everything from high culture to live sport, green space, fine dining, heritage sites, and crime rates.

It compared the 32 London boroughs (excluding the City of London) across four main categories: Great Outdoors, Hospitality, Culture and Activities and Good Vibes.

Coming in 28th place, Kingston got a score of 11 for the 'Great Outdoors' section, 54 for 'Hospitality', 40 for 'Culture and Activities' and 140 for 'Good Vibes', giving it a total score of 245.

Next door Richmond, however, did secure the top spot, with a total score of 791.
