London fire brigade warns residents ‘to take care’ when using new designated swimming spot in Thames at Kingston

London Fire Brigade (LFB) Kingston has today (Thursday, 2 July) issued a warning for residents using the new Thames designated swimming area in Kingston.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), LFB Kingston said: "The new Thames designated swimming area near the YMCA Hawker centre has become really popular!
"If you plan to swim, please take care. We have our throw line bags available at the entry point."
