Local singer/songwriter Tom Speight is performing at Kingston Christmas Market tonight (1 December) at 6pm with free entry.

The Teddington artist shared on Instagram he is doing a "hometown show" in support of Crohn's & Colitis UK, a cause he has personal connection with.

Tom is a driven talent with a string of EPs and a full-length album under his belt.

He has gained strong radio support from BBC Radio 2 with seven playlisted records in a row, and over 200 million streams across DSPs.

He battles Crohn's disease, living with a stoma and wrote his debut album in hospital. A succinct writer with great emotional intelligence, Speight continues to push himself and his artistry, a characteristic that has come to a head with this new LP, Love & Light.

Since 2014, he has gained international recognition from the UK, to Germany to Brazil, headlining shows and supporting some of the biggest acts, from Ed Sheeran, Snow Patrol, to Ben Howard and Travis.
