Local female darts club to expand into Kingston and Surbiton

A local female darts club, which already has five different teams across Teddington and Twickenham, is set to expand into Kingston and Surbiton.
The Women's Ammateur Darts League (TWADL) will be hosting its first Kingston taster session at The Bricklayers Arms pub on Hawks Road from 7.30pm - 9.30pm on Wednesday, 21 October, ahead of the new team launch in January.
TWADL's taster session is for "women who are interested in joining the new team and want to come along, meet some people and give it a go before deciding whether they'd like to join for the January season," according to one of its founding members, Hannah.
No darts experience is needed at all, and women can come on their own - they do not need to know anyone else attending.
Hannah added: "TWADL truly is for all ages and abilities, and most of our members had never picked up a dart before joining.
"The darts are really just a fun way of bringing people together; it's much more about having a regular fun night out, meeting people locally and being part of a social group than how good (or bad!) you are at darts."

The taster is completely free, everyone gets a complimentary house drink, and there are only 12 spaces available, so RSVP'ing is essential.
If you are interested, you can RSVP on TWADL's website here where you can also find out more information about the club and read testimonials from past participants.
TWADL will be hosting another taster session in Kingston in mid November, this time at The Canbury Arms which has recently been taken over by a new owner.
