Kingston's Lush store will be opening tomorrow, 17 November, at 11am with a new look alongside discontinued old favourite products.

The handmade cosmetics brand is paying homage to the history of its Kingston store by bringing back several exclusive cult-classic products from over the years, chosen by Kingston staff and customers.

Feda Verduci, store manager at Lush Kingston, said: "We're excited for all that the new shop will offer to our customers and staff. We have some very loyal customers, generations of Lush lovers coming to our store for their cosmetics, perfumes and gift shopping."

Lush has a long history in Kingston, with its fourth ever shop being opened there over 25 years ago. Today, the cosmetics retailer has 886 shops across the globe (105 in the UK and Ireland).

The brand is paying homage to the history of its Kingston store by bringing back several exclusive cult-classic products from over the years, chosen by Kingston staff and customers.

Kingston will be the first store in the UK to sell these previously discontinued products, which include the iconic Space Girl Bath Bomb, Flying Fox Shower Gel Shimmy Shimmy Glitter Massage Bar and Needles and Cynthia Sylvia Stout Shampoo.

As well as a wall of exclusive products from the past, the entire shop will be rejuvenated with a new layout, displays and signage, with plenty of room for gifts ahead of the 2023 festive season.

Verduci added: "The shop is a top destination for birthday celebrations and we can't wait to host more Lush Party experiences in this beautiful new space!"

As part of Lush's mission to 'Leave the world Lusher than we found it', the main focus of the design is repurposing furniture. Alongside some new furniture produced from ethically sourced and durable materials, existing furniture from the previous store will be repurposed and refinished to give the materials a new lease of life, reducing the environmental impact and any waste of the shop refit process.

The Kingston retail experience highlights iconic Lush inventions from the 1980s including the shampoo bar and the bath bomb, a wall of returning Lush classics, as well as an array of ethical gifts and Knot Wraps - Lush's ethical alternative to single-use gift wrap.
