Kingston: Planned roadworks taking place across the borough this week

This week will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.

Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.

Planned works

Cox Lane, Chessington: 24 hour two-way signals outside the sub station, 28 March to 3 April 2023. Urgent works by UKPN, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.

George Road, Kingston: Two-way signals 9.30am - 3.30pm outside Holy Cross Preparatory School, 4 April 2023. Works by BT, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Kingston Hill, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals outside Cumberland House, 5 to 20 April 2023. Works by Thames Water, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Kingston Road, New Malden: 24 hour multi-way signals outside St Johns Church, 5 to 15 April 2023. Works by Thames Water. Footway closed, a pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Motspur Park, New Malden: Multi-way signals 9.30am - 3.30pm outside 74 Malden Road, 6 April 2023. Works by TFL, footway closed. A pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Combe Lane West, Kingston: 24 hour multi-way signals at the junction of Crown Road, 10 to 23 April 2023. Works by Southern Gas Networks. Footway closed, an alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.

Barnsbury Lane, Tolworth: Multi-way signals 9.30am to 6pm at the junction with Vincent Avenue, 11 to 13 April 2023. Works by BT. Footway closed, a pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Vincent Avenue, Tolworth: Multi-way signals 9.30 to 6pm at the junction with Barnsbury Lane, 11 to 13 April 2023. Works by BT. Footway closed, a pedestrian walkway will be provided.

Thetford Road, New Malden: 24 hour multi-way signals outside 27, 14 to 19 April 2023. Works by Thames Water. Footway closed, an alternative walkway will be provided.

Canbury Passage, Kingston: 16 August to 31 May 2023. Works by Thames Water. Footway closed, an alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.

Kingsgate Road, Kingston: At the junction with Canbury Passage, 16 August to 31 May 2023. Works by Thames Water, footway closed. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.

High Drive, New Malden: Some carriageway incursion for the entire length, 28 August to 28 April 2023. Works by Southern Gas. Footway closed. An alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.

Branksome Way, New Malden: Some carriageway incursion between High Drive and Matlock Way, 17 January to 7 April 2023. Works by Southern Gas. Footway closed, an alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.

Brook Street, Kingston: 24 hour southbound directional road closure, 13 March to 15 April 2023. Removal of hoarding and scaffolding.

Kingston Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from Dollary Parade to King Henry's Road, 22 March to 14 April 2023. Works by Royal Borough of Kingston. Footway closed, an alternative route for pedestrians will be provided.
