Kingston: Planned roadworks taking place across the borough over the next fortnight

The next fortnight will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.

Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.

Planned works

Kingston Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from Dollary Parade to King Henry's Road, 27 February to 24 March 2023. Sewer connection works.

Cambridge Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from 206 to Dollary Parade, 27 February to 24 March 2023. Sewer connection works.

Coombe Road, Kingston: 24 hour two way signals from 7 to 13, 13 to 24 March 2023. Surface water connection installation.

Brook Street, Kingston: 24 hour southbound directional road closure, 13 March to 15 April 2023. Removal of hoarding and scaffolding.

Ewell Road, Surbiton: 24 hour road closure outside 428, 13 to 17 March 2023. New water service connection.

Moor Lane, Chessington: Two-way signals 9.30am - 3.30pm outside Chessington Oak, 15 March 2023. Works by TFL.

Thetford Road, New Malden: 24 hour multi-way signals outside 27a, 15 to 21 March 2023. New service connection from Southern Gas.

George Road, Kingston: Two-way signals from 9.30am to 3.30pm outside Holy Cross Preparatory School and Coombe Wood Golf Club, 17 March 2023. Works by BT.

Water Lane, Kingston: Road closed until 24 February 2024. Development works.

Chantry Road, Chessington: 24 hour multi-way signals outside 19, 20 March 2023. Works by Thames Water.

Victoria Road, Surbiton: Multi-way signals from 8am to 5pm outside 19, 20 March 2023. Works by Thames Water.

Skerne Road, Kingston: Lane closure from 9.30am to 3.30pm outside 49, 21 March 2023. Works bt TFL.

Kingston Bridge, Westbound: Westbound cycle lane and footpath closed. Westbound cyclists are advised to use the main westbound carriageway, vehicles are prohibited from overtaking cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the footpath on the north-side of the bridge.

Kingston bound pedestrians can use the footpath as normal on the north-side of the bridge, kingston bound cyclists can continue their journey on the eastbound cycle lane. 18 July 2022 - 14 April 2023.
