Kingston: Planned road works taking place across the borough this week

This week will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.

Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.

Planned works

Sury Basin, Kingston: Contra-flow outside Hammond Court, 28 February 2023. Crane operation.

Brighton Road, Surbiton: 24 hour multi-way signals from 67 to 77, 27 February to 3 March 2023. Works by Thames Water.

Leyfield, Worcester Park: 24 hour road closure outside 79, 27 February to 6 March 2023. New service connection by Thames Water.

Church Road, Worcester Park: 24 hour road closure at the junction with Barrow Hill Surrey, 27 February to 3 March 2023. Maintenance works.

Kingston Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from Dollary Parade to King Henry's Road, 27 February to 24 March 2023. Sewer connection works.

Cambridge Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from 206 to Dollary Parade, 27 February to 24 March 2023. Sewer connection works.

London Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals outside 150 to 164, 27 February to 8 March 2023. Maintenance work by Thames Water.

Burlington Road, New Malden: 24 hour two-way signals outside 1, 27 February to 1 March 2023 and 9 to 17 March. Remedial works by Gas Transportation co.

Barnsbury Lane, Tolworth: 24 hour two-way signals to the rear of 34 Tolworth Rise South, 27 February to 12 March 2023. Works by Thames Water.

Douglas Road, Kingston: Two-way signals 8am to 4pm outside 53, 2 march 2023. Maintenance by BT.

Blakes Lane, New Malden: Two-way signals 9.30am - 3.30pm outside 50, 3 March 2023, Maintenance by BT.

Kingston Bridge, Westbound: Westbound cycle lane and footpath closed. Westbound cyclists are advised to use the main westbound carriageway, vehicles are prohibited from overtaking cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the footpath on the north-side of the bridge.

Kingston bound pedestrians can use the footpath as normal on the north-side of the bridge, kingston bound cyclists can continue their journey on the eastbound cycle lane. 18 July 2022 - 17 March 2023.
