Kingston: Planned road works taking place across the borough this week
This week will see a number of roadworks take place which could impact your routes across the Kingston borough.
Read on to find out what areas will be affected and the roads to avoid.
Planned works
Kingston Bridge, Westbound: Westbound cycle lane and footpath closed. Westbound cyclists are advised to use the main westbound carriageway, vehicles are prohibited from overtaking cyclists and pedestrians are advised to use the footpath on the north-side of the bridge.
Kingston bound pedestrians can use the footpath as normal on the north-side of the bridge, kingston bound cyclists can continue their journey on the eastbound cycle lane. 18 July 2022 - 17 March 2023.
Brighton Road, Surbiton: 24 hour multi-way signals from 67 to 77, 27 February to 3 March 2023. Works by Thames Water.
Leyfield, Worcester Park: 24 hour road closure outside 79, 27 February to 6 March 2023. New service connection by Thames Water.
Church Road, Worcester Park: 24 hour road closure at the junction with barrow Hill Surrey, 27 February to 3 March 2023.
Kingston Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from Dollary Parade to King Henry's Road, 27 February to 24 March 2023.
Cambridge Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals from 206 to Dollary Parade, 27 February to 24 March 2023. Sewer connection works.
London Road, Kingston: 24 hour two-way signals outside 150 to 164, 27 February to 8 March 2023. Maintenance works by Thames Water.
Hawkes Road, Kingston: Two-way signals from 9.30am - 3pm outside 63 to 65, 22 February 2023. Maintenance works by BT.
Burlington Road, New Malden: 24 hour two-way signals outside 1, 27 February to 1 March 2023. Remedial works by gas Transportation co.
Barnsbury Lane, Tolworth: 24 hour two-way signals to the rear of 34 Tolworth Rise South, 27 February to 12 March 2023. Works by Thames Water.
Water Lane, Kingston: Road closed until 24 February 2024. Development works.
Cox Lane, Chessington: Multi-way signals from Davis Road to Chelwood House, 24 to 26 February 2023. Installation of new ducting by BT.
Elm Road, New Malden: Road and footway closed at Malden Level Crossing, 25 to 27 February 2023. Works by Network Rail.
Richmond Road, Kingston: Lane closure outside 52, 20 to 22 February 2023. Installation of a new service connection by UK Power Networks.
Skerne Road, Kingston: Road closed on the paved off area, 24 to 27 February 2023. Works by Network Rail.
