A Mexican restaurant in Kingston could expand its outdoor seating area.

Tacos MX, which is located on High Street, is seeking the council's permission to expand its outdoor seating area from three tables and six chairs to four tables each with four chairs, arranged on the public pavement on either side of the main entrance, maintaining a clear and unobstructed pedestrian access route to the premises at all times.

The outdoor seating area will be located immediately outside the restaurant and will be for the purpose of both selling and serving food or drink and for the consumption of food or drink.

If the application is approved, Tacos MX hopes to operate its outdoor seating area from 10.30am - 10pm seven days a week.

Residents have until Monday, 10 August to submit representations for this application and can do so here.
