Kingston man ordered to pay over £400 after driving car with expired tax

A 67-year-old man from Kingston has been ordered to pay more than £400 after driving a car with expired tax.

Tahir El Menan, of Kings Keep, Beaufort Road, Kingston, was found guilty in his absence for using an untaxed vehicle on July 23, 2022.

He was using a vehicle in Kingston when it was found to be unlicensed.

Lavender Hill Magistrates' Court heard that the vehicle's tax had expired on May 31, 2022.
