A man from Kingston pranked motorists in London's low-emission zone and dressed up as a ULEZ camera for Halloween.

A video shows Gus Dolphin, 29, on the side of the A217 in Wandsworth shouting "Who's got a f***ing diesel then?" at oncoming drivers.

Gus, a security technology worker, said: "I had nothing to wear and it was last minute."

Gus spent around £20 on the costume and upcycled materials into the get up.

He said: "For the head camera I used a protein pasta delivery cardboard box and painted it black.

"I used some grey gaffer tape and then used a CD box and CDs for the lens (£10)."

"I then created the signs on PowerPoint and printed them at my local printers and laminated them for about £10."

Gus, a security technology worker, said:

Gus took to social media where viewers praised him for his humorous costume.

He said: "I think people with a diesel car paying £12 a day would be more scared of a ULEZ camera than other fancy dress costumes.

"I'm not a very scary person and not very good, so I'd rather go for something a bit more out there."

Gus is no stranger to interesting Halloween costumes and went dressed up as a "Just Stop Oil" activist last year.

Gus said: "Last year i went as just stop oil a current real word event and it went down well."
