Associate Solicitor - Child Law, Russell-Cooke Solicitors, Kingston
We are seeking a highly motivated solicitor to join our riverside offices in Kingston upon Thames. Children panel membership preferred
The Children and Education Team is highly regarded and has an established reputation in providing a first class service to our clients who include many professional clients as well as individuals based in the UK as well as internationally. The Team is ranked by the legal directories in Legal500 and Chambers with the Partners recognised as Leading Individuals in their field.
The Team deals with high quality and interesting work including: Public and private children law applications, adoptions, both UK and International, Abduction, Fertility Law and Surrogacy.
We are seeking an additional solicitor for our busy team. The working environment is friendly and informal.
What you'll be doing – some examples
- Working with support from colleagues to deliver exemplary service to clients including:
- Representing families in care proceedings
- Representing families in private law disputes
- Advising on adoptions
- Advising on leave to remove applications
- Representing your clients in court hearings
What you're like
- educated to degree level
- a solicitor who has children law experience, Children Panel preferred
- you're highly motivated and professional
- you're quick thinking and a fast learner
- you have a genuine interest in developing your professional learning and expertise in the children law arena
- you have experience of having primary conduct of cases of your own
