Kingston JESSOPS has put out a call for staff as it prepares to re-open.

The camera shop on Thames Street has been temporarily closed for months amid uncertainty over the future of the chain.

Earlier this year JESSOPS reduced its store count to 17 and owners called in administrators for the second time.

But the Kingston shop now says it will be opening in mid-September and is looking for full-time and part-time staff members.

Employees will be providing expert, friendly advice to local photographers and image-makers.

Candidates applying for the job should have good written and verbal communication skills.

Most importantly they should be knowledgable and passionate about photography.

To apply, email the manager [email protected] with a CV and covering letter outlining your photographic knowledge and availability.

A sign in the window says there is "no closing date" for the vacancies and it is first-come first-served - so if you're looking for a job, get applying!
