Kingston: Have your say on plans to build MORE flats on Kingston riverside

Plans to build a 16-storey tower on Kingston riverside are set to be debated again this month.
Proposals for two new blocks of flats in the disused plots by Turks Pier were revealed in July and developers ran a consultation that month.
Starting next week another consultation will be taking place which the developers say is due to "popular demand."
Feedback can be given online from 11 to 25 October and there will also be a public exhibition at the DoubleTree Hilton on Monday 11 from 4-8pm.
But plans for the new tower have been heavily criticised since details were revealed earlier this summer.
The Kingston Society called the building "inappropriately scaled" and slammed the July consultation as "a tick-boxing consultation of the worst kind."
Local resident Caroline Scott also expressed scepticism about the proposals' aims to open up the riverside space and provide more affordable housing.
She wrote: "This proposal will not open up the area. It will close it down with a huge tower and many more people.
"It will not be affordable to local people as prices in such a prime riverside location will start so high that - even with a discount to market price - they will not be in any way affordable."
Commentators in a Facebook group also slammed the tower as "a monstrosity" following a Kingston Nub News article announcing the plans.
On its website Thames Side Wharf says the new block of flats would have a positive effect on the area.
They state that the development would "deliver much need housing, including 35% affordable housing, in a central riverside location where people want to live and work."
As well as flats a mixed-use commercial space is also planned for the ground floor.
The developers also argue that it will improve the "derelict and long term vacant site" which is currently used as a car park.
A planning application for the project will be submitted after October's consultation and if approved work on the project will start next year, to be completed in 2024.
