Kingston had third lowest number of recorded crimes in South West London in March

South west London, which includes Croydon, Sutton, Merton, Lambeth, Kingston, Richmond, and Wandsworth, saw an overall rise in reported crime in March.

A total of 12,252 offences were logged in March, up 10.6 per cent recorded in February.

And Kingston borough had the fifth highest number of crime rates in the area in March with 1,069 offences recorded.

The most common crimes were violence against the person, with 354 reports, and theft, with 309.

Taking first place was Lambeth with Croydon and Wandsworth coming in second and third place and nearby Richmond in joint last place with Merton.
