COVID-19 stats in Kingston continue to plummet in most categories.

The good news on case and death numbers means schools can reopen to all pupils on March 8th.

The government unveiled its full roadmap on Monday - with a return to normality tentatively set for June 21st.

Here are the key stats in Kingston this week:

140 people have tested positive in the borough in the past seven days - a 33% decrease on the previous week.

Seven people have died in the past week, the same as the previous week.

41 people have been admitted to Kingston Hospital in the past week with COVID-19 - a 25% decrease on the previous week.

The cases per 100,00 currently sits at 90 in the borough.

So while the statistics move in the right direction we still need to follow the rules to drive the rates down even further.
