A church in Kingston is bringing back its popular organ recitals this month.

All Saints Church in Kingston Market Place will be hosting the free recitals on Monday and Friday lunchtimes from January 26 through to March 20.

The Friday sessions will take place on four dates; January 30, February 13, and March 6 and 20, and feature renowned organists including Peter Stevens, Thomas Allery, Seb Gillot, and Mark Laflin.

The Monday sessions, by contrast, will be weekly, and showcase talents including pianists Galina Umanskaya, Gunyoung Hwang, Emilie Capulet and Calum Ward, viola player Yohei Nakajima, and clarinettist Luca Luciano.

Bands including the Lavolta Trio and the Kings Clarinets, in addition to mezzo Sandra Porter and violinist John Rogers, are also set to take the stage.

All performances start at 1:15pm and will be held in the Nave.

Spectators are encouraged to donate to a retiring collection to help with church costs, but this is entirely optional.
