The Christmas lights at the Triangle near are to be switched on for the first time tomorrow.

The switch on will run from 2.30pm - 3.30pm.

The Triangle is a mini roundabout, the junction between Kenley Road, Dickerage Road, and Clarence Avenue.

The event has been arranged as a local resident lost her husband last year when he tripped on loose paving near a Triangle shop.

The resident will be turning on the 'Star of Hope' and local volunteers and the Coombe Vale Ward Panel Chair will switch on other lights.

Local reps from the Dickerage Road Park Recreation Centre are also expected to be there.
