Kingston Carers has invited local carers to join it for a free party event at  Chessington World of Adventures Resort on 2 November.

Th event is open to registered Young Carers aged 5-25 who live in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames and will run from 10am to 2pm.

After last year's hugely successful YCP Party Conference, Kingston Carer's is back with even more exciting activities.

Whether you're returning or joining Kingston Carers for the first time, here's plenty of activities in store, including:

  • Talented young carers showcasing their performances on stage.
  • Personal stories from young carers sharing their unique experiences.
  • Inspirational guest speakers.
  • Tons of fun, including a photobooth, magician, glitter tattoos, prizes, animals, and a special visit from the Gruffalo.

The event wraps up with a free buffet lunch, followed by free entry into the park, where you can enjoy the rides and explore the zoo.

The park stays open until 7pm for the final weekend of the award-winning 'Howl'O'ween' event.

Kingston Carers' Simon Bang said: "We're incredibly grateful to Chessington for their generous support, helping us bring a bit of magic to the lives of Young Carers as we "Dream Big" and build on last year's incredible success."

A carer is someone of any age who provides unpaid support to family or friends who could not manage without this help.

Kingston Carers provides independent information, support and advocacy to over 3,600 adult carers and nearly 800 young carers in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames.

Bang added: "We have space for key individuals from the community who may not yet know about the Young Carers Project but could be interested in supporting or sponsoring our important work.

"If you know anyone who might be able to help, we'd greatly appreciate your support in connecting with them."

Spaces are limited, so be sure to book early.
