One Kingston care home has celebrated its 10th birthday alongside a special guest (and local celebrity).
Residents of Coombe Hill Manor enjoyed what staff described as 'a grand affair', featuring music and plenty of food and drink.
A highlight of the day was one of the care home's long-standing residents, who has been living at the care home for nine years, having the honour of cutting the anniversary cake surrounded by his friends made during his time spent living there.
To add to the celebrations, the party-goers were joined by Haydon the Womble, mascot of nearby football team Wimbledon AFC.
Haydon's attendance is part of a partnership made between the team and Signature, the company behind Coombe Hill Manor.
This has seen the football club host weekly 'Active Ageing' sessions to help keep the home's residents active and healthy.
Staff say the sessions are highly anticipated, fostering great friendships among attendees both from Coombe Hill Manor and the wider community.
Monika Patel, Client Liaison Manager at Signature at Coombe Hill Manor, said of the celebrations:
"We would like to extend our gratitude to all our guests who attended."
She continued: "A heartfelt thank you to Haydon and AFC Wimbledon for making our day even more special.
"Our residents, their families and friends, and our dedicated staff members all contribute to making Signature at Coombe Hill Manor a unique and wonderful place to live and work. Here's to a bright future ahead!"
