Today's weather: Overcast this morning with a chance of rain at 8am. Changing to sunny intervals by lunchtime with a warm afternoon, highs of 20° at 2pm. Clouds return in the evening and there is a very high chance of rain at 9 and 10pm. Low pollution and UV.

Traffic report

Slow traffic at Kingston Vale, with delays of six minutes and delays increasing on the A3 Northbound by Stag Lodge stables. Average speed here is ten mph.

Traffic is also slow on the A3 Northbound between Tolworth broadway and the Malden Junction roundabouts.

Previously reported roadworks in Tolworth, Surbiton, New Malden, Worcester Park and West Molesey continue.

Event of the day: see a 'mini concerto' at All Saints Church

Hear the concertos of Beethoven, Mozart and Dvorak exquisitely arranged by London-based group the Phacelia Ensemble tonight.

From 7.30-9.30pm and for just £15 you can hear the 6-player chamber group play their arrangements of pieces usually performed by full orchestras.
