Featuring local weather, traffic and travel and fun things to do in our town.

See below for details of the FREE Upcycling workshop today with the brilliant Save The World club - part of Kingston Arts Festival 2021.

Traffic and travel

Hook: Lanes closed after collision on the A3 junction with Hook Road at Kingston by-pass. This is causing severe delays of up to 15 minutes on the A3 northbound between Hook Rise and Esher Common.

Tolworth: Queuing traffic for one mile on the London Road A240 at Tolworth interchange (Tolworth Broadway).

New Malden: Long delays on A2043 Malden Road both ways at A3 (Malden Junction) with congestion to North Cheam, back through Worcester Park, and south from New Malden Station.

Hampton: Queuing traffic for one mile on the Upper Sunbury Road A308 travelling towards Hampton Court, affecting the stretch from Kempton Park Racecourse to A311 Church Street. Travel time is 25 minutes.

Activity of the day: Upcycling with Save the World Club!

A free Upcycling and Shabby Chic workshop with the brilliant people at Save the World Club

This event organised by Kingston Arts Festival is free to attend and will teach you how to upcycle and restore furniture. It's a practical workshop so appropriate workwear is recommended. Runs from 10am to 3pm at the Chiltern Works in Surbiton, near Berrylands station.
