Kingston Borough Business Awards 2024 are now open with FIVE new categories

Kingston Borough Business Awards (KBBA) have announced applications for 2024 is now open with five new categories. 

Organised by Kingston Chamber of Commerce, the annual awards recognises the outstanding achievement and impact of local businesses, educational institutions, and social enterprises.  

The KBBA aims to evolve and reflect the local business community and so the 2024 programme is pleased to present five new categories to enter, including: 

  • Best in Digital Communications 
  • Best Health and Wellbeing Provider 
  • Best in Property of the Year 
  • Best in Sport and Fitness 
  • Removing Barriers Champions. 

Winners from last year include: Momentum's Children Charity as Social Enterprise of the Year, The Wych Elm in Excellence in Food and Beverage Award, Kingston Beats CIC as best start-up, and Best Local Independent Retailer of the Year was Not my Beautiful House.

The awards are judged by a panel of business leaders and experts. The judging is a rigorous two-stage process including pre-scoring to determine shortlists, followed by a judging panel meeting where submissions will be discussed and evaluated in detail to decide the winning entries.  

Finalists will be announced 5 December 2023, with the Awards Ceremony taking place in February 2024.

You can submit entries into multiple categories, it is highly recommended that the entry is specific to that category.  

Entries close 11am on 8 November 2023.  

Kingston Chamber of Commerce is an independent, not for profit organisation entirely funded by its membership and one of the largest borough chambers in London.  

Formally recognised as the business representative for the business community in the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames, it provides networking, training, advice and business development opportunities.
