Kingston-based wholesalers could start selling alcohol online and offering home delivery

A Kingston-based wholesaler has applied for a licence to sell alcohol online for delivery direct to customers' homes.
BBD Wholesale UK Ltd, located in 163 London Road, is seeking permission to sell alcohol by retail for consumption off the premises from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Sunday.
Orders could then be delivered within seven days.
The company is seeking the licence on a permanent basis.
Anyone wishing to comment on the application must send their views in writing to the council's licensing team by Monday, 13 October.
