Kingston-based, Mixologist's Garden, has received the 'One Star' accolade from the highly regarded Great Taste Awards 2024, which recently revealed the achievements of artisan and quality brands based across the country.

The now award-winning 'Raspberries' from Mixologist's Garden are part of its unique ready-to-use fruit garnishes range, providing shoppers with the ultimate at-home bar hack to garnish and elevate their drinks, without needing to prepare, store or waste fresh fruit.

The ambient range includes raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, lemons, limes and oranges that are available in resealable bags across Tesco, Asda and Co-op from £2, and used by bars and restaurants in their cocktail menus across the country.

Awarded to Mixologist's Garden's 'Raspberries', the judges said the natural, freeze-dried fruit has a "deep red colour, generous size and shape retention", adding the flavour was "clean, bright and fresh, with some sharpness".

Marcel Kotowski, brand ambassador at Mixologist's Garden, said of the award-win: "The Great Taste Awards is highly thought of by both food and drink professionals and consumers who are browsing the shelves in supermarkets, delis and farm shops, so we're honoured to have been awarded One Star for our raspberries.

"Mixologist's Garden's primary purpose is to garnish drinks, providing a less wasteful solution to fresh fruit which often goes past its best quickly and is expensive.

"The ambient Raspberries are ideal for putting in sparkling wines and berry-based cocktail and mocktails, and with the Great Taste Awards also recognising its tasty flavour, we know we've created something unique, meaningful and beneficial to British shoppers."

Hand selected for their superior quality and then freeze-dried to capture 100 per cent flavour and appearance, the fruits in Mixologist's Garden's range quickly rehydrate when placed in any drink, releasing their fresh flavour and intense colours.

The Great Taste Awards are hosted by the prestigious Guild of Fine Food, recognising exceptional food and drink produced across the country. The expert judges award accolades based on the product's appearance, taste and taste.
