Covid Support roles - £14.22 per hour
About the role
In response to emerging and changing needs relating to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are looking for casual / bank workers who are available at short notice to provide assistance when additional help is needed.
We have requirements across a number of services for additional support and this includes:
Kingston Stronger Together Hub
The Kingston Stronger Together (KST) Covid-19 Community Response Hub was set up in response to the Covid-19 pandemic to support our residents of Kingston. KST works in conjunction with our strategic partners, including the Voluntary Sector to deliver services to those who most need it.
Roles includes coordinating food and medicine supplies and telephone support to vulnerable groups such as homeless people, those eligible for winter support grants and residents who are feeling lonely.
Bereavement
We are looking for dynamic people to maintain and organise the various sites within the cemetery, ensuring all grounds maintenance services are delivered to a high standard which meets customer expectations. Staff will be required to assist the team with grave excavation for which 1 to 1 training will be given.
General
Commissioners for Adult Social Care
Project Support - the capacity to plan to meet individual, group and corporate milestones in relation to Brexit, Covid or Public Health.
Administration - general administration duties with excellent accuracy and attention to detail.

About you
Candidates will be matched to roles based on their knowledge, skills and experience and where they can best support the Covid response.
Experience within the care, voluntary or charity sector would be desirable. You will bring a range of skills that would benefit the role including dealing with vulnerable people in an empathetic and supportive way. Roles will be really flexible, based on where there is a need and may involve some cross working.
