Job of the week: 6-month Kickstart placement at Kingston's Rose Theatre

This week's featured opportunity comes via Kingston's Rose Theatre as part of the government's Kickstart scheme .

Successful candidates will help the Rose put on its exciting summer season of events, as well as the first season of shows. by new artistic director Christopher Haydon.

PRODUCTION SUPPORT (KICKSTART PLACEMENT- STARTING JULY)

Supporting the Producer and Artistic Director in delivering the programme at the Rose.

Working in this very busy department you will work on specific projects as well as routine tasks and will see how the producing department of an arts organisation functions and is run.

- Excel and Word literate - required

- High communication and numeracy skills - required

- A-Levels or higher qualification - preferred

25 hours per week Mon-Fri, 11am to 5pm or 12 to 6pm, with an hour off for lunch.

Kickstart placements are open to anyone aged 16-24 who is currently claiming Universal Credit.

If you're interested in this placement, please speak to your Work Coach at your local Job Centre as soon as possible and quote the postcode KT1 1HL, as well as the job title 'Production Support' and organisation 'Kingston Theatre Trust (Rose Theatre)' - they should then be able to refer you for the role.
