Celebrate International Dinosaur Month, this April in Kingston.

The Community Brain, a not-for-profit organisation, with support from Kingston Council is inviting people from across southwest London and east Surrey to join them in Tolworth and Hook.

From Saturday 2-16 April the Tolworth not-for-profit will be running free activities, arts and crafts events and entertainment.

The team are hoping to raise awareness of the many significant dinosaur fossil finds in Surrey.

Inspiring people to think about the amazing creatures that might have lived in the area during prehistoric times.

Kicking off on Saturday April 2 there will be a dinosaur hunt in Tolworth and a new dinosaur mural will be unveiled in the A3 Tolworth Island pedestrian underpass.

On Friday April 8 there will be a dinosaur hunt plus arts and crafts.

Reaching its climax in the evening on Saturday April 16, there will be live music from the rock band The Reptiles, headlining with a setlist of joyful 60s, 70s and 80s covers.

And to top it all off there will be an outdoor screening of Steven Spielberg's Oscar winning Jurassic Park.

The event is free but tickets must be booked in advance here.

The Community Brain works to help build a future that is more local, more mutual, more equitable and more sustainable, helping communities apply their voice.
