For those who hate shopping for Valentines gifts, lockdown can be a relief.

But if you still want to show someone you love them, without resorting to a default of online chocolates & champagne, there are alternatives .

You can buy bespoke, local & support freelance makers in these tough times, when even small sales make a real difference to the local economy!

Thinking jewellery? Handmade doesn't have to mean unaffordable.

Hampton based jeweller Lisa Helyer of Gallery66 has been crafting her own designs in sterling silver and gold over silver for over 20 years and has fans in Kingston & beyond .

Lisa said: "I sell my work in Covent Garden normally, but with the lockdown I am very happy to produce work for clients closer to my home!"

Her range of beautiful simple pieces start at just £20.
