Hampton Court Palace's annual tulip festival is returning next month.

Tickets are now on sale for the festival starting April 12 and running until May 2.

the courtyards and gardens of Hampton Court Palace will be filled with over 120,000 tulips.

Tulips have always been synonymous with spring, heralding the start of warmer days to come.

This is the perfect opportunity to stroll around the iconic gardens and take in the beautiful colours of over 60 rare, historic and specialist varieties of tulips on show.

It is inspired by Mary II's famous 17th century collection at Hampton Court Palace.

Visitors will be greeted by a sea of tulips across the palace gardens, including breath-taking floating tulips vases in the fountains.

Expert gardeners predict displays will look their finest in mid-April but blooming periods are subject to weather.
