The Legacy Project has announced the 39 finalists for the Global Youth Awards 2025, which will take place in Kingston and represent an incredible 15 countries around the world.

These remarkable young people have been recognised for their courage, creativity, and commitment to actionable change across diverse fields — from climate action and mental health advocacy to education, social innovation, and the arts.

This year's awards is forest themed in line with their Environment category.

2025 marks the 13th anniversary of the Global Youth Awards, a movement that continues to amplify the voices of young changemakers aged 11 – 25 who are shaping a more compassionate and sustainable world.

Hosted at brand new venue, CIRCUIT, Kingston on Saturday, 8 November, this vibrant and uplifting event will feature live performances and the presentation of 13 awards for its 13th year with the introduction of the brand-new Songwriting Competition Award — designed to celebrate young creatives using music as a voice for unity and transformation.

All three finalists in the Songwriting Competition will take to the stage to perform their original songs live during the ceremony, bringing their inspiring messages to a global audience.

Finalists will attend live where possible with international winners accepting awards virtually and watching via a livestream.

Previous winner and host of Nature Talks Podcasts, Erfan Firouzi said: "The Global Youth Awards are far more than a celebration, they're a reminder that young people are not just the leaders of tomorrow, but the changemakers of today.

"Being part of this movement is deeply inspiring, as it brings together voices from every corner of the world who are shaping a more compassionate, sustainable, and united future.

"The Global Youth Awards embody the spirit of hope and action, the very essence of what it means to believe in humanity's potential to create change."
