Four fire engines called to a fire in New Malden house

Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters responded to a fire on Muybridge Way, New Malden earlier today, 20 September.

The fire was located in a terraced house of two floors. Part of the ground floor and first floor were damaged by fire. A conservatory at the property was also destroyed by the fire. 

The Brigade was first called about the fire at 10am, and the firefighters had the incident under control by 11.52am.

Crews from New Malden, Surbiton and Kingston fire stations attended the scene. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) have been contacted for comment.
