Kingston fire brigade believe stairway fire was ‘deliberate’

Kingston LFB believe a stairway fire was "started deliberately" in Wood Street multi-storey car park.

The brigade was called to the scene of the fire in the stairway at 9:43pm on Saturday 27 January. The incident was over for firefighters at 10:08pm. 

Crew from Kingston and Surbiton fire stations attended the scene.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Brigade and the Metropolitan Police Service.
