Stand-up Chris McCausland is headlining a fundraising event for Surrey-based Momentum Children's Charity which helps children facing life-challenging conditions.

Regular panellist on Mock the Week and The Last Leg, Chris McCausland, has just completed a sell-out 140 date tour.

He is donating his time to the charity event taking place on Wednesday 8 November at The Arthur Cotterell Theatre in Kingston.

Talking about why he is supporting the event, Chris McCausland said: "I'm really looking forward to being part of this special show for Momentum.

"It is going to be a great night of comedy, with good friends, all supporting a local charity that does such incredible work for children and their families."

Scottish comedian, Writer and Taskmaster favourite, Fern Brady is also joining the line up, and the event is being compared by the hilarious Erich McElroy.

The night promises plenty of laughs, with surprise special guests yet to be announced.

Momentum Children's Charity supports families across London, Surrey and Sussex whose children are facing cancer or a life-challenging condition.

The charity partners with local hospitals to offer personally tailored support to the entire family through their family support workers, both in hospital and at home.

Bianca Effemey OBE, Founder and CEO of Momentum Children's Charity said: "Wow – what a line up for our Comedy Night! I know Chris, Fern, and Erich will have everyone howling with laughter from the outset.

"A massive thank you in advance to Chris, Fern and Erich for donating their time, and to Kingston College for letting us use its wonderful theatre.

"We are so very grateful to have so many wonderful individuals and organisations in our local community who come together to fundraise for Momentum - it is thanks to them that we can continue delivering our services to families with seriously ill children."
