The author of The story of Tracey Beaker, Girls in Love and The Illustrated Mum is coming to the Bentall Centre on Thursday 14 December for Waterstones' Christmas Evening.

Her latest novel follows Milo, Mia and Birdy as they excitedly return to a cottage beside the Enchanted Wood for Christmas. The children can't wait to visit their magical friends Silky the fairy and Moonface again and wonder which amazing worlds will arrive at the top of the Faraway Tree at this time of year? But before they can celebrate, there is a chilling visit to the Land of the Frozen North…

In a gorgeous hardback package and beautifully illustrated throughout by Mark Beech, it is a perfect book to celebrate a special time of year, which will be treasured by Magic Faraway Tree fans of all generations.

Tickets cost £14.99 on eventbrite, including a copy of The Magic Faraway Tree: A Christmas Adventure which can be collected at the event.

Waterstones will be providing mince pies, mulled wine, gift wrapping, music and the chance to meet some of your favourite authors and grab signed copies of their books.

Other authors attending the event are Natalie Haynes (signing Divine Might), Sophie Anderson (signing The Snow Girl), Allie Esiri (signing 365 Poems for Life), Robert Tregoning (signing The Dress in the Window).
