On Wednesday 20 November, a group of cyclists embarked on the 11-day Cycle4Caroline charity cycle from Blair Castle in Perthshire in Scotland to the Savoy Hotel in London.
The cycle, which is over 1,100km, is in memory of Caroline March who sadly passed away in March 2024.
Caroline was a successful international equestrian and suffered a fall whilst eventing in 2022, which had left her paralysed.
Cycle4Caroline supports two charities that were close to Caroline's heart: the British Eventing Support Trust and Spinal Research.
Riders included Caroline's brother, Tom March, and sister-in-law Piggy March.
Piggy is one of Britain's leading event riders having won gold medals at World and European Championships and won both Badminton and Burghley.
The final leg of the cycle was on Saturday, 30 November, running from Windsor to The Savoy, and was open to other cyclists to tag along too.
During this leg of the route, the cyclists took a pit stop at Sigma Sports cycling retailer in Hampton Wick, who is a sponsor of Cycle4Caroline.
Sigma Sports supported the riders with bicycles and clothing and local residents attended the pit stop to support the cyclists.
Cycle4Caroline has already raised £266,221.03, but you can still donate here.
