BREAKING: Woman hit by bus on Eden Street in Kingston

A woman has been hit by a bus on Eden Street in Kingston.

The police received reports of a bus colliding with a female pedestrian at around 8:50am today, Monday 20 May.

Police officers, the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance attended the scene.

A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: "The female pedestrian has been taken to hospital. At this stage, her injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."

Eden Street was closed to all traffic while emergency services investigated the incident, but reopened at around 4:40pm.

Kingston Nub News has reached out to TfL regarding disruption to bus services in the area.
