A cutting-edge new Boots Hearingcare store officially opened in Kingston this week.

This flagship 'World of Hearing' location marks a significant step forward in hearing care, featuring an advanced immersion room and self-screening centre designed to transform how people engage with their hearing health.

Inside the store's state-of-the-art immersion room, customers can trial hearing aids in realistic soundscapes - like a lively restaurant or busy concert - providing a powerful and personal way to understand how hearing aids perform in everyday settings.

Hearing loss is one of the UK's most overlooked health issues, with around 11 million people living with untreated hearing loss.

This new opening reinforces Boots Hearingcare's mission to challenge outdated perceptions of hearing aids and highlight the life-changing benefits of modern hearing technology.

From restoring confidence and improving relationships to reconnecting with daily life, the Kingston store aims to make a real difference in the community.

Catherine Groves, Senior Regional Sales Manager, Boots Hearingcare, said: "We're absolutely delighted to be opening our brand-new World of Hearing store in Kingston.

"This marks another exciting step in our ever-growing presence in the area, giving more people the opportunity to access the very best in hearing care. Our mission is to make hearing health accessible to everyone, and this new store allows us to support even more customers on their journey to better hearing."

Whether you are noticing changes in your own hearing or seeing a loved one withdraw from conversations, it's never too early to take action.

Boots Hearingcare says it "is here to help you reconnect with the sounds that matter most".

It added: "With an estimated 14.2 million UK adults expected to experience significant hearing loss by 2035, Boots Hearingcare is committed to making expert support easily accessible."

The Kingston store offers free hearing tests, no referral needed, and customers can even trial hearing aids before purchasing, ensuring they feel the benefits for themselves.

Boots has also just launched a new hearing aid range by Phonak which are the first-ever custom made, rechargeable hearing aids and they are available from the new store.
