BMW crashes into Surbiton flat railings

A BMW crashed through the railings of a block of flats in Balaclava Road in Surbiton, in the early hours of yesterday morning (Wednesday, 2 April).

The car is said to have narrowly missed the trees and scaffolding at the front of the building.

It is reported that one of the porch pillars outside no. 49 was struck and damaged by the car.

It is thought the car had clipped a curb and ended up in their front garden.

Police tape is currently surrounding the area.

The police has been contacted for more information.
